I bought my first Charlotte Tilbury products back in May 2014 (video haul here) and I've desperate for some more ever since. If we had Charlotte Tilbury up in the North East of England, it wouldn't have taken me long to buy some more but we don't so I didn't end up ordering any more until now. Around Christmas and New Year, Selfridges had 10% off Beauty and I looked at Charlotte Tilbury for days deciding whether to splurge or not. As you can see, I well and truly splurged!
Charlotte Tilbury makes selecting her products very easy with her Signature Looks. You can buy the products that were used to create these looks in a set so you can create the look yourself. I watched her videos on these over and over before deciding on The Uptown Girl set for my first haul. I think it's a great introduction to her makeup range as you get to try a lot of different products and you know they are going to look great with each other.
For my second haul, I decided to buy a another set and again after watching her videos, I chose The Rock Chick. I don't normally go for the rock chick look but I really liked the look of the individual shades within the set so thought it was a good choice. In this set I got the gorgeous makeup bag that you get in all of the sets (link), Full Fat Lashes Mascara in Glossy Black (link), The Feline Flick eyeliner (link), Luxury Eyeshadow Palette in The Rock Chick (link), Cheek to Chic blusher in First Love (link), Lip Cheat lipliner in Iconic Nude (link), Lip Lustre lip lacquer in Blondie (link) and K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick in Nude Kate (link). I'm so excited to try all of these!
I love all of the Charlotte Tilbury makeup I've tried so far, in particular her Full Fat Lashes Mascara and the Wonder Glow Skin Illuminator. The packaging is amazing too. Very classic, Hollywood glamour and who can resist a bit of rose gold?!
I didn't stop at The Rock Chick set though. I've wanted to try the Light Wonder Foundation for ages as I've heard it's great for drier skins and for adding a glow. I picked the lightest shade - Fair 1. I really liked the look of the Velvet Underground shade of the K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick. It's a beautiful dark pinky berry shade.
Finally, I couldn't not try the newer Matte Revolution lipsticks. I went for the shade I've seen the most of, Lost Cherry. I'm super excited to try this!
I really must make a fair go of my savings now so this will probably be the last major haul for a while!
Let me know if there's anything in particular you would like to see a review of on my Charlotte Tilbury products.
