Fleur De Force has a great video about the process of creating the Wild Argan Oil so it's definitely worth a watch if you want to know more about that.
I love The Body Shop shower gels. They produce a rich lather, leave the skin feeling nourished and are available in so many glorious scents. The Wild Argan Oil one has all of those qualities plus it feels luxurious due to its sensual fragrance. The whole range of products has this scent and I find it very relaxing.
The Rough Scrub isn't as rough as it sounds, luckily! It sounds like it would be one of those thick, tightly packed together, grainy, scrubs that can be quite harsh on the skin. This, however, has super exfoliating argan shell grains enveloped in a smooth gel. This is best applied to dry skin so you can spend a bit of time gently massaging the product into your skin before rinsing it away. I find this to be very effective at exfoliating the skin and revealing glowing, fresh skin, as well as nourishing the skin without leaving a film behind. When I've used this, my skin feels so soft all day even when I haven't used a body moisturiser after my shower.
I'm loving the Body Butter as it's such a thick formula, it's extremely moisturising on the skin. You almost have to warm it up a bit to get some of the product out, it's quite solid! It's definitely the most luxurious body butter I've tried from The Body Shop. I am partial to the Strawberry one but this definitely has a more sophisticated scent.
Something unique to the Wild Argan Range is the Miracle Solid Oil. It comes in a tin and you have to massage your hand over it to melt the oil so that you can rub it on to any extra dry patches of skin. It would be especially good for dry elbows and knees. You can even use it in your hair too! My fiancé suffers from very dry, sore elbows (from working too hard at his desk I reckon!) and I've been treating him to a little elbow massage with this. Without even knowing the name of the product he said it was a miracle! He's always asking me to put more on as it really helps with keeping his elbows nice and nourished. I think one of the main reasons he likes it is because it doesn't stay wet or greasy on the skin, it sinks in quickly.
I would totally recommend this range as it feels like you are giving yourself a nice pampering treatment when you use these products. I'm quite interested in picking up the Solid Lip Balm and the Radiant Oil next.
