I've got super pale skin that gets dehydrated and can look a bit flaky when wearing foundation so it's quite hard to find a foundation that meets all of my needs. There is one amazing foundation that I've been loving since December/January so I thought it was time to share this with you. The foundation is the NARS Radiant Cream Compact Foundation and it was first recommended by Gemma from Miss Makeup Magpie. Before this, buying a compact foundation never really crossed my mind. I'm not sure why, I guess I thought it would be quite hard to apply and it wouldn't give much coverage. Anyway, Gemma seemed to love this stuff and being a fellow pale skinned girl, it's good to hear recommendations of foundations that might suit my pale complexion.
I thought I'd start with a 'before' photo so you can see what kind of state my skin is in before I put the foundation on. I have the shade 'Siberia' which is the lightest one and the colour is perfect for my skintone. I apply it with a Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge (Boots £5.99). 1) because Gemma does this, 2) because I didn't fancy getting the NARS sponge dirty and 3) because it gave me an excuse to buy the sponge! This is actually perfect at picking up the right amount of foundation and you really don't need much to cover your whole face. The foundation glides on so smoothly and covers up redness and spots with ease. It has quite a dewy finish which makes your skin look very healthy and radiant. It feels comfortable on my dehydrated skin and doesn't go flaky. It's basically just perfect! I'd say the worst thing about this foundation is that you have to buy the compact (Space.NK £7.00) and the foundation (Space.NK £28.00) separately! I can't fault the actual foundation!

I took these photos before my big blowout meal to celebrate my Fiance's new job so I thought I may as well show you the rest of my makeup.
As well as the base products shown in my first photo, I used the shades 'Buzz' and 'Dust' from my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Mascara, Maybelline Brow Drama in 'Dark Blonde', Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in 'Amused' and the YSL Gloss Volupte in '15 Grand Pepite'. I'm absolutely loving my Tarte blushes so far. Both this one and 'Tipsy' are gorgeous shades with lots of pigmentation. I'm so glad I bought them!
