Lee Stafford has added to his already vast collection of haircare with a new shampoo* and conditioner* designed for those with oily roots and dry ends. As soon as I heard about this range I thought it sounded perfect for my hair! I have fine hair that gets greasy so quickly and has some remaining damage from dyeing it (stopped this 2 years ago and still growing it out!). I also give it a daily beating with straighteners and even though my trusty Lee Stafford Professional Straightening Iron Protection Mist does a great job at protecting my hair, I still need to add moisture into the ends to keep them looking smooth and soft.
This range claims to detox hair, mop up excess sebum on the roots and soothe tired ends. I've been testing the shampoo and conditioner for the last few weeks and I'm definitely impressed with it. The shampoo thoroughly cleanses my hair leaving it squeaky clean (literally!). I hate going a day without washing my hair but I've found that on the second day after washing my hair with these, my roots still feel clean and have some lift to them where they would normally be flat to my head by that time! The conditioner has the perfect consistency and formula for adding a good dose of moisture to the mid lengths and ends of my hair without weighing it down.
Another thing I love about these products is the smell! It's like a really sexy fragrance. It's not too sweet or girly, it's quite musky. It's the same scent as Lee's other products and I often get nice compliments about the scent from my fiance when I've used them.
I think Lee has done a fantastic job at getting the balance right between tackling greasy roots and providing enough moisture to the ends. A lot of products targeted at greasy hair totally strip the hair leaving it looking dull and very tangled. That doesn't happen with these products. My hair is left feeling fresh and looking healthy with this range.
Lee Stafford products are exclusive to Boots and these 250ml bottles of shampoo and conditioner are £8.99 each. They are included in the current 3 for 2 deal if you're quick too!
