I didn't write any haul posts in February but I bought a hell of a lot of stuff so although my Instagram followers have seen all of this, I wanted to share what I bought with everyone else!
I've accumulated the above from several trips to Boots. They have a 3 for 2 event on across makeup, skincare, bodycare and haircare so a lot of the things above are from that. I couldn't resist! I've been loving La Roche-Posay and decided to pick up a few more bits. I chose Effaclar A.I, a targeted breakout corrector, as I've been loving the Effaclar Duo+ but fancied a little extra boost as I have loads of hormonal spots on my chin at the moment and I need all the help I can get. I also picked up the Physiological Soothing Toner as I'm almost out of my usual Elemis one and fancied a little change. I've tried a cleanser and exfoliator from the 'Physiological' range and really liked them so I'm looking forward to trying the toner. I don't recall trying anything from Avene before but I liked the sound of the Soothing Moisture Mask so that was one set of 3 for 2s sorted.
From the Bourjois stand I picked up some base products from their '123 Perfect' range. I got the foundation and the CC cream. I've read a lot of good things about the CC cream lately as this is a new release so I really need to get round to trying that soon. I'm not a massive eyeliner lover but I got a free one for spending over £10 on Bourjois. It's also new and it's the Liner Feutre Ultra Black, a felt tip style eyeliner.
I made my first ever Soap & Glory makeup purchases after asking other beauty bloggers on Twitter which products they recommended. I went for Glow All Out, Archery and a Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick.
Model's Own HyperGel Nail Polish has just been released so I picked up three of those shades as I fancied seeing what the formula was like. I chose the shades Naked Glow, Cornflower Gleam and Blue Glint. Another new release is the L'Oreal Paris L'Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick so again I picked up three of those - Rose Melody, Rose Symphony and Fuschia Drama. I'm quite excited to give these a go!
I've built up quite a big collection of Real Techniques brushes after liking them so much and I thought this was the perfect opportunity to buy a few more! I went for the Expert Face Brush, the Powder Brush and the Blush Brush. I've heard good things about all three of these so I'm sure I'll love them.
I don't use a lot of dry shampoo but I thought I'd give some other Batiste ones a go. XXL Volume and Wild caught my eye so I went for those.
A few weeks ago, Escentual had a 25% off sale on so I couldn't resist picking up some of the Clarins Spring collection lipsticks I'd had my eye on. They are Perfect Shine Sheer Lipsticks and I got the shades Tropical Pink and Coral Tulip. These are such gorgeous shades and I think they will be fab for Spring and Summer. Just bring on the warm weather now please! Having only tried the micellar water from Bioderma, I've been wanting to try more things from the brand so I went for the Moisturising Stick for damaged and dehydrated lips. I love my Nuxe Reve de Miel but it's not as good for on the go so this is where the Bioderma one comes in. It has an unexpected pear drops kind of scent to it which I'm loving!
Another online order that I placed was from e.l.f. I find it hard to resist their 50% sales and this is my third haul from them now. The silly thing is I've barely tried any of the products I've bought from there so far so I really must make some time to give them a go! I'm sure this order cost me less than £20 so I got quite a lot for my money! I went for the 100 Piece Eyeshadow Palette, two HD Blushes, the Studio Stipple Brush, Mineral Infused Mascara and two Moisturising Lipsticks. Lots to try!
On one of my trips to town in February, I came out of Boots totally empty handed! I was in shock and couldn't believe I didn't want anything. I then walked into Fenwick and quickly rectified the situation by coming out with two of the Nails Inc Gel Effect Polishes. I liked the look of these when they were first released and now that they've brought a few more colours out I had to give them a go. I chose Kensington Passage and Mercer Street, both lovely bright colours. I then hit the MAC counter and decided to buy three lipsticks I've been admiring for a while. I bought Sunny Seoul (Cremesheen - peachy coral), Pink Pearl Pop (Cremesheen - mid pink) and Candy Yum Yum (Matte - neon pink). More Spring/Summer lip colours sorted!
Space.NK had one of their amazing deals on in February where you spend a certain amount and get a load of freebies. This deal was spend £75 and get everything you see above for free, apart from the Hourglass items which were my actual purchases. I'd been lusting after the new Ambient Lighting Blushes so this was a very good excuse to purchase some! I went for the shades Ethereal Glow and Diffused Heat. I also picked up an Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in the shade Edition. These were my first ever Hourglass purchases and I've already got a post up about the Ethereal Glow blush and the Opaque Rouge here.
I hadn't bought any makeup from Topshop for ages so today when I didn't buy any makeup from Boots, I decided to check out Topshop. I went for Glow in Polished (creamy highlighter) after seeing Anna from Vivianna Does Makeup rave about it. I also chose a peachy Nail Polish called Keepinit Sweet, a Powder Blush in Let Her Go (dark orangey-coral) and a Velvet Finish Lipstick in Macaroon. I've wanted this shade for ages! It's a beautiful bright pinky-peach shade.
Whilst I was in Clintons today I saw there were some new Yankee Candle scents and when I sniffed the 'Under The Palms' one, it was love! It has a tropical scent and smells a bit like Pina Colada cocktails. Yum! I have to say, I was very tempted by the White Chocolate Bunnies (link) one as it smells incredible! They only do it in the large jar for £19.99 though.
