I was recently offered the chance to try some Beauty UK makeup which is fab as I hadn't tried anything from the brand before so I was excited to try some. Before I let you know more about the products, I just wanted to let you know that they were part of a collection available on Baobella Boutique at a massive discount. Baobella Boutique is an online beauty store that has daily deals on well known brands as well as new brands. For example, when this collection was available to buy, it was being sold for £10.99 instead of £21.95. Looking at 'Today's Exclusives' there are great discounts for brands such as Maybelline, Elizabeth Arden, OPI and more so it's worth checking the site out regularly to see if you can grab a bargain! If you want to know more about how Baobella Boutique works, you can read more information here.
My favourite product from this selection is the Posh Palette in 'Eden'*. As you can see it's a beautiful neutral eyeshadow palette which is a great alternative to the more expensive ones on the market. What I really like about this palette is the mix of mattes and shimmers as well as there being both cool and warm toned shades. There is certainly something to suit everyone in here. The colours are very smooth and pigmented, even the mattes have a great texture, not chalky at all.
It was quite hard to test the CC Cream in 'Biscuit'* properly as it's way too dark for my skintone but I did try it on my face and I found it to be quite a thick, foundation-like cream with fairly high coverage. The addition of SPF30 is amazing as we all need to be protected from the sun. According to the description this has light diffusing pigments to illuminate your complexion, not bad for it's £4.99 RRP.
The High Brow All In One Brow Definition Kit* is a very handy little kit. It contains powder suitable for most eyebrow shades along with a non sticky wax to keep the brows in place. The powders have a good level of pigmentation so you only need a little bit for a lot of definition. The kit also contains a mini angled brush for the application of the product, along with a mini pair of tweezers which means you can easily get rid of any stray brows.
The final product is the Grit FX Posh Polish in 'Shoreditch'*. I'm not normally a fan of textured nail polish but this one is actually quite nice. I really like the metallic blue shade and the grit is quite fine and evenly distributed throughout the liquid so it gives a nice finish on the nail.
I've been impressed with the products I've tried from Beauty UK so I'll certainly be checking out what other products they have. Their website is http://www.beautyukcosmetics.com/ if you want to check it out.
