Recently I became aware of an online pharmacy called Farmaline who are based in Belgium. What I love about them is the wide range of European skincare they stock at a reduced price. It's fantastic for getting hold of brands like Bioderma which aren't widely available in the UK. From looking through popular French brands like La Roche-Posay, Vichy and Bioderma, they seem to have a much bigger range of products than other sites I've seen. For example, I know that La Roche-Posay Serozinc is quite hard to find but you can get it from Farmaline here!
Farmaline very kindly sent me a full size product of my choice from their website and some other samples to try which I'm very grateful for. I decided to try the La Roche-Posay Hydreane BB Cream in the Light shade as I've often fancied trying it.
I absolutely love this BB cream for giving my skin a healthy boost. It gives a lovely glow to my skin as well as covering most of the redness and blemishes I have. It doesn't perform as well on large, raised spots but I wasn't expecting it to as it's not a foundation. This feels so lovely and moisturising on the skin too. The addition of SPF 20 is fantastic as it's good to get some protection from the sun. I love La Roche-Posay, I just want to try all of their products!
The Farmaline products came very well packaged in a Farmaline box as shown above, within a bigger outer cardboard box. It took less than a week to be delivered too so just because it's from Belgium, it doesn't mean you will have to wait a long time to receive your order.
I thought I'd quickly mention the samples I got too. I received some Rene Furterer shampoos and serum after mentioning my sensitive scalp. The Astera Fresh shampoo has a lovely minty scent that feels soothing and fresh on the scalp. It leaves my hair feeling squeaky clean and without irritation. I'm looking forward to trying the Astera Sensitive shampoo and Astera Fresh Leave-In Soothing Freshness Serum too. This has been a really good chance to discover a new brand and I'm all up for trying French products, always wishing I could spend all day browsing their pharmacies!
I was very pleased to find some La Roche-Posay samples in a cute little bag. I got a mini Thermal Spring Water which delivers a fine cooling mist over the skin. This would be perfect for the Summer to cool yourself down or to refresh your makeup. The Lipikar Body Moisturising Fluid is really nice too. It's a non-greasy, fast drying moisturiser that leaves the skin on your body feeling soothed and hydrated. I already love the hand cream in this Lipikar line so I knew the body lotion would be great.
