Time Bomb is a skincare range by the Federici brand (creators of John Frieda haircare) in collaboration with the Scottish singer Lulu. I've often seen this brand featured on QVC UK but never tried anything from the range. If I'm honest, I saw it as a range for older women so it never appealed to me.
I was recently offered the chance to try the Complexion Cocktail with a shot of B12* and on hearing it was perfect for tired and worn out skin, I leapt at the chance to give it a go! With all of the parties going on this season, we need all the help we can get in this area!
So what does this product promise?
"Fatigue can show up on your face as dull, lifeless skin, drained of colour. Time to reboot! Complexion Cocktail with a shot of Vitamin B12 gives tired skin a jolt. Massaged into skin, this formula helps recharge and invigorate, leaving skin looking refreshed and more even-toned. This formula, with a special blend of hyaluronic acid, provides an infusion of moisture so skin appears plumped-up with a healthy looking complexion."
What did I think of the product?
The formula of the product is quite toner-like. It's a pale pink liquid that you can apply to the face with your fingertips or as I do, soaked into a cotton pad. When I read that it had hyaluronic acid, I expected the product to sting or tingle but you don't feel anything when applying this, it really just feels like a toner so I think this would be suitable for all skin types. The packaging states it can be used morning and night too.
The moment I used this for the first time, I noticed a big difference in the texture of my skin. It felt like all of the dead skin cells had been buffed away, as if I'd used an exfoliator and my skin felt so smooth and fresh. It's one of those products where you can't stop touching your face after you've used it. This feeling lasts and on continuing to use the product each morning it has maintained those results.
I've been out drinking every weekend over the past few weeks and I've been very naughty as I left my makeup on for bed! This resulted in me waking up with very painful spots on my chin. Ouch! Somehow this product worked wonders in those situations. Honestly, this is perfect for hungover, spotty skin. It put the moisture back into the skin and it healed my spots in a shorter space of time than normal. One of the weeks, it even stopped one or two of the spots coming up to the surface so that was brilliant.
If you're looking for something to give your skin a boost on a daily basis or something to get your skin through all of the food and alcohol this season has to offer, this may be a great product for you to try.
It costs £24.00 for the 100ml bottle and it's available on QVC UK along with the rest of the Time Bomb range.
