As I mentioned in my previous post, it was my Birthday on Thursday. I can't believe I'm only 2 years away from 30 now! The time is just flying by! Anyway, I thought I'd show you some of the lovely gifts I received and what I spent my birthday money on. For those of you who don't really like haul posts I'm looking to do more review style posts as I need to cut down on shopping and I know it would be great for you to read my opinions on products once I've tried them rather than just seeing what I've bought and not hearing anything more!
I've never had a pair of ghds before as they are pretty expensive but my fabulous fiance bought me a pair of mint green ones from the candy collection. They are so good as they just glide effortlessly through the hair and I love the colour so much!
I was really pleased to get some Soap & Glory body washes as I really enjoy using them. I'm looking forward to trying the Scrub 'Em and Leave 'Em body scrub too as I love Soap & Glory body scrubs but haven't tried this one before!
I'm not usually a big fan of Dior perfume apart from Miss Dior as I find them too powerful and old fashioned but I'm loving the Dior Addict Eau Delice I received. It's very floral but sweetened with cranberries so it's more sophisticated than my usual sweet scents but not too granny-ish either!
My last and very generous gift from my fiance is this beautiful Guess watch. I don't normally wear watches so when I start to wear this, I will probably be staring at my sparkly wrist all day! I was very spoilt and I'm super grateful for what I received.
My brother got me these sweet treats, he knows me too well! I'll almost feel bad eating the bear! Hehe. The Reese's Peanut Butter is going to be so good as well. I can imagine myself just sitting with a spoon and eating it out of the jar! Oops!
Now on to what I bought with my birthday money...
I spotted this bag in River Island a few weeks ago and I really like the bold colours so I decided to go for it. I fancied a new bag for work and it's not bad for £40.00.
Speaking of bags, I also needed a white one for a night out I'm having next weekend so I snapped this one up for £12.99 in H&M. I really like the tassel and the different textures.
It was time for a new purse as the zip on my current one was starting to jam all of the time so I couldn't shut it properly. As I had a £50.00 voucher from work, I only had to add £25.00 to get this DKNY purse. It's the most expensive purse I've bought to be honest but it will last me quite a long time and it's something I will use every day so I decided it was worth the price tag. I was super tempted to buy a Michael Kors one though!
The last part of my haul is some jewellery which I rarely buy! I wanted some nice dangly earrings to wear on my birthday night out so that's where the silver ones came in. I've been really tempted to buy some rose gold bits lately so when I saw the bracelet I knew it was an essential purchase! I bought the hoops to match, even though I haven't worn hoops for years! I'm hoping they will look good. The gold bangles are for my night out next weekend even though I probably have a ton of random ones lying about somewhere, it's nice to treat yourself to some new ones :)
Thanks for reading my haul post. Is your birthday coming up soon? What are you hoping to receive?
