October Favourites

I enjoyed using lots of products in October so I thought I'd let you know about them...

Jergens Original Beauty Lotion - Applying body moisturiser feels like a chore so it's a step in my beauty routine I often neglect. Jergens have changed my mindset with their Original Beauty Lotion as it smells delicious and makes your skin look and feel super smooth. I reviewed this here if you would like to read more.

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel - This shower gel from Lush's Christmas range is a big favourite of mine. I have to buy a bottle every year! It's a gorgeous sweet smelling shower gel that leaves it's yummy scent on the skin for hours after your shower.

Ojon Volume Advance Shampoo and Conditioner - I bought these travel sizes from Boots as I'd fancied trying the range but didn't want to fork out for the full sizes. They were expensive at £6 each but I really enjoyed using them. I have very fine hair and the shampoo gave my hair a good cleanse while the conditioner nourished my hair without weighing it down. I was surprised about the consistency of the conditioner actually as volumising conditioners tend to be quite watery but this one was thick meaning my hair didn't get tangled after rinsing out the product! I'm looking forward to trying more Ojon products in the future.

Origins United State Balancing Tonic - I ran out of toner and spotted this on Liparazzi which reminded me that I previously fancied trying this. It's designed for combination skin and it does a great job at balancing the skin out without stripping it of moisture. This keeps my skin smooth and the citrus scent makes it enjoyable to use.

Origins Super Spot Remover - I seem to have had quite a few spots lately so this has been in regular use. It's great at drying up existing spots or stopping spots coming to the surface. It stings but I kind of like that as it feels like the product is working!

Lush Popcorn Lip Scrub - My lips have started to get a bit dry and flaky (sorry!) lately due to the drop in temperature so this has came in handy for sloughing off the dead skin and providing a good base for my lip balm. It smells lovely too. I wouldn't exactly say it smells like popcorn, it's more of a salted caramel scent but it's delicious anyway.

Essie Peach Daiquiri Nail Polish - I wore this on a night out along with the lipstick below and they were a pretty good match. It's a lovely red-coral shade and the formula is amazing as with all Essie polishes. It's great quality and smoothed out some of the ridges I have on my nails which is good as some cheaper polishes don't cover them up!

L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Excess Mascara - This is the best mascara I've tried for a while as it's great at separating, lengthening and volumising lashes. I really like the brush as it coats every lash easily. I reviewed this last week if you want to read more.

MAC Lipstick in Watch Me Simmer - This was a limited edition lipstick so I hope I never run out. It's a red-coral shade in the amplified formula. It's really well pigmented and effortlessly glides on to the lips. I feel really glamourous when I wear this on a night out.

Bare Minerals Eyeshadow in Nude Beach - I bought this from Bright Town Girl's blog sale a few months ago and I really enjoy using this for a night time look. It provides a nice wash of shimmery colour over the lids and looks really good. I expected to get fallout with this product but there isn't any, it just sticks straight to my lids so it's nice and simple to use.
